Looking for what works and what doesn't for a 2010 Challenger R/T 5.7. Best bang for the buck... Exhaust, Cold Air Intake, Headers, etc... Company names and results would e great. Thanks, Jeff

Go on the Challengertalk.com website. There is a whole section on there about performance mods. There is a wealth of information about new Challengers on there.

I was told the same thing about the exhaust from Bob Frederick. The stock exhaust is hard to beat, performance-wise. I put the skip-shift eliminator in mine (well, Bob Frederick put in before he delivered it), as well as the '70-'74 Hurst Pistolgrip from Gunslinger, just for looks and old-school feel. I've also heard: 1. DiabloSport Predator 93 octane tune 2. Cold Air Intake 3. Larger throttle body ...but I'm no expert .

You are basically spot on. A Mopar CAI is as good as any of them for a 3-4 HP increase.
Exhaust is made by many different makers. Depends on what you are looking for in tone and quality and if it is an auto or stick.
Suspension you have Hotchkis, Razors Edge, Pedders, Petty and a few others.
Headers there are a few out there, can't remember their names though.
A Tuner by Diablo is always high on the mods list. Easy peasy to use and get some pretty decent gains.
Also a larger throttle body does NOTHING for a 5.7 unless you are putting a supercharger or something on there.
Of course the only one I've done is the CAI from Mopar.. some better Continental tires and I'm clicking off mid 13's in the quarter mile.

I've actually heard the throttle body has a better gain than the CIA. Speedlogix is a good, knowledgeable source for parts, have many different brands. Seems Kooks is a really popular header. Depends on if you want to go shorty or long tubes and change the cats and mids. Do your research. Some guys say things gain nothing, some will swear by things. I am holding off to do the skip-shift because you can turn it off with the Predator. The Trinity from Diablosport isn't really new enough for me to know a lot about it, but since it came out used Predator tuners pop up a lot on Challengertalk. I dropped the tire pressure and pulled the air filter in my '10 and using the 'key trick' hit 13.78. No mods. Would like to get it into the 12's, but not in a hurry now that I have an old ride to play with.

Everything I've ever read and talk to many people in the business about these cars including SRT engineers. A bigger throttle body is only required when needing massive amounts of air. Otherwise a stock one will flow really well all the way up to and over 400 hp. Haha Hank...

I misread. The PORTED stock sized tb is what people say makes the difference. No need for a bigger one, like you said. But smoother air flow always helps!
But the Porting doesn't do anything since it is a stock size and volume.

We will just have to agree to disagree. Seems to me smoothing the air flow is a good thing. Why port cylinder heads? Same size and volume, but makes large horsepower gains? There is also thread after thread of CIA's not adding any more power than you would get switching to an SRT airbox. They, like the exhaust, are already well designed. They are good eye candy. If someone wants to shell out $300 for 4-10 horsepower, more power to them. Back to the O.P. Do your research and buy accordingly. The 5.7 is a really good package and seems to make good power. Buying carefully should get you the improvements you are looking for.

Lets go real day two. Bigger tires on rear, air shocks, headers and cherry bombs, dixco tach on column with hose clamps, and maybe just maybe a sweet mural etched into the side windows.
