Voltage regulator wiring #1284721

On the pre 69 electronic voltage regulator, there is a pigtail and a post.Which is the 12v feed(ign), and which goes to the field post on the alternator. Thanks for the help.

here is what i got when i put in avg search for 68 dodge dart with v8

but it looks like green is your field wire and the blue wire is your 12V switched

Thanks, but the original wires are gone, so I am making a new harness,and I don't which post is which on the regulator. Would be nice if Mopar would put some kind of labeling on the regulator.Also , thank you for your service.

thanks for the kind words also the reg is not marked which is which? is there a reason you want to stay with the points stile reg? i mean for factory looks? if not i would wire the car up for a 73 electronic voltage regulator. Mopar65

This is not the points style regulator. It's the the electronic race regulator (PN 3690732) for pre 69 cars.

sorry i don't think i am going to be much help.
But reading this

but if i am reading this right the green wire will hook up to the stud on your race regulator and the blue wire will hook up to the pig tail coming off your race regulator. again sorry if i am no help. Mopar65
