That's where the block that splits the rear brakeline bolts in. It's a special bolt that also serves to vent the diff.

you'll need the tee if you want rear brakes and venting the rear keeps the seals from blowing out, so yeah hunt

some of the rubber rear hoses come with the distribution block/tee/splitter attached, you'll just have to pick up the bolt/vent piece.

pirate one off ANY other rear. As mentioned some brass blocks have a built in flexible hose & check your parts house for a truck one that will have a longer hose(moulded in or screw in) if your rear is jacked up so you wont run out of travel if that might be an issue.

Not ANY any other rear, any rear that uses the vent style bolt. Some 8 1/4 or 9 1/4 rears have their own vent in another spot and they use a solid bolt to hold the brake Tee.. Don't use a solid bolt, you'll be blowing gear oil out the axle seals.

Most of the time your local Auto parts store can get one. I got one at Advance Auto. As I recall, the rear brake hose comes with one on it.

Why, should it be a secret?

maybe he has a bunch of them, and didn't want to make a "for sale" ad in the Q&A forum...
