My only guess is valve float, or the valve stem hungup for a milisecond. The valve stem is burnished a bit, but I don't know if that is from after it broke, or, before it broke. There is also a mark in the piston/valve relief that the valve hit, but I don't know if the valve hit the piston before it broke, or if the valve made that mark in the piston after it broke. So at this point it's just a guess with what happened. Chris from New Jersey

Yeahhhhh,,, about that...... #6 and #4 need an overbore. .020 should clean it up. But yes it's still better than windowing a cylinder. All 8 piston tops got pieces of the newly fabricated parts also, which doesn't really matter since it's going to need a bore anyway. Chris from New Jersey

Driving one like that right now - .030" over on 7 holes and .040" on the 8th. Fastest 300
