The car has a 318,auto and small bolt pattern..I went over the fender tag and it doesn't say ....I don't have the car so I can't see what it is 8 3/4or 71/4

radar top fuel R Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 1,682 Philadelphia	Probably 7.25 You can tell easily because the 8 3/4 has a closed back with no bolts and also 3" axle tubes vs. the smaller tubes on the little rear. I feel like the 8.25 wasn't offered until later, I don't actually know.

340SHORTY Truck Nut Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 12,291 Kent, Wa	1 of the 2 you mentioned are the choices in that year. Look at the fender tag or under the car is the only way to find out.. Iv seen /6 cars with 8 3/4s and 318 cars with 7 1/4s.. I am truckless..

He wouldn't accept it..Felt he would miss out on the "sell it right now"...He sold car..So now I am looking for a car again.......
