Putting the engine together with a 4.15 crank. Have a 402 oil pan but it looks like the back half of the oil pan is hitting the stroker windage tray and needs about another 1/4-1/2" for it to sit flat on the block. Need some input from someone that's put a stroker together as far as what oil pan do you use? Will a deeper pan in the back interfere with the steering link?

Lots of oil pans should fit just fine with 4.15 stroke. Milodon has several street pans that should fit. Mancini Racing has a few reproduction type pans that should fit with the Street Hemi pan being a good choice.

Did you use Mopar sized rod journals? If so, you might need a stroker windage tray. The standard windage try works fine when using BB Chevy connecting rods on 4.15 or 4.25 stroke cranks.

I've had good results with the repop Hemi pan from Mancini. It picks up some needed capacity without being too low or expensive.

I've got the Moroso 8 qt. and the 440Source stroker windage tray. Fits great!

The Charger uses the Milodon low profile oil pan with 1/2" pickup. This engine will rev 7,000 RPM. It fit fine before on the old engine, but does hang down below the K-Member a bit. Now that the new engine has the stud girdle I will have to re-check the clearances.

The Coronet has the reproduction Hemi oil pan. It sits about flush with the K-Member. It easely clears the stock windage tray, but I'm not sure about the stroker windage tray? I like this oil pan for street driven cars that don't rev over 6,000 RPM.

I will check the Hemi Oil pan / 440 source stroker windage tray combination tonight as I have an extra of each sitting on the shelf.

I use the 8 qt Moroso pan also. I like it as it fit fine in my 63 with the eng in the stock location and it has plenty of road clearence. Ron

you never said what car you are putting the engine in , can't really give a good recommendation without that little tidbit of information .

if it's going to be a mostly street driven car do yourself a favor and run the 6qt mopar 70-71 hemi pan , plenty of gruond clearance and it will clear that tray .
