SteveA OP enthusiast S Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 266 Illinois	I have a 74 Fury (ex police car) with a 440 that I can't get running. I have done the basics but have run out of patience. I'm looking for someone to diagnose the problem and get the car running. Maybe some other mechanical repairs, also. Don't have a big budget, so am unable to take it to a commercial shop with their labor rates. PM me if you can help. I can tow the car to your location. Joesixpack I Live Here J Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 11,912 APACHE JUNCTION AZ	you can turn the key to ON,get out,remove the coil wire from the cap, ground it,ie lay it on metal, then take a screwdriver and cross the two posts on the starter relay and the starter will engage,it will turn over, then 1 person can check for spark....you should see a spark from the coil wire to the metal ground....
