have a stroked 440 w/ stealth heads, xr280r roller cam, card says lash is 16 int/ 18 exh. I'm assuming that's hot. What should I set them cold. Engines been sitting a couple of years while I've recovered from lung cancer.
Thanks guys/gals

On my iron 440 block with aluminum heads (stage 6) I gained .004" from cold to hot. On my aluminum low block with aluminum heads I gain .015" from cold to hot. Hope this helps.

you need to make sure that is a hot lash or cold lash from the mfg. then go from there,,my comp calls for .020 hot exh/int and I set them .015 cold because my alum heads grow .005 at running temp.
