Cab_Burge OP I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,228 Bend,OR USA	I got a call from Phil Grovers mother early this morning saying Phil had been killed in a motorcycle wreck yesteray, he was a good freind and an excellent person I will miss him Someone else has already posted about this in the general section so if you've already read it, sorry for the duplication, I don't go there usually so I thought I would post on here for those like me to see it. I remember when he towed his car out to MATS many years ago from NY. ...I'm not sure if he or his buddy slept the whole way out here! They were a sight for sore eyes!! Of course, that's what good stories and memories are made of . Phil will be missed. Certainly glad I had the opportunity to meet him.

He got here about 24 hours before the buyer did so on meeting him I took him out for supper. The next day I picked him up and we went out for dinner with Larry H. (Hemi Ram on the board). Hit it right off with him, he was full of interesting stories. He also spoke very highly of you Cab, told me of all the help you'd been to him and all you'd taught him. I shall miss him. Dave

I almost met Phil as I hung around his car (the 69 340 Cuda) for a bit at Carlisle waiting for him to return but I did not stay long enough to meet him.
