basically yes , there is a raised rib on the tail housing and a corresponding line under the second of the 2 pinion tooth count range, those 2 marks line up.

And the bolt-on 'keeper/hold down' will have it's tangs in 2 of those slots so the gear-house doesn't turn under use.
Whoever drew that arrow on that picture wasn't very smart. Seems the line is right on the little knob/bump you use to line up the gearhousing. He should have made sure the knob was visible and even pointed out with another arrow.
