I used to run the Trans-go stuff and installed the Cheetah w/out any issues as most of the mods are in the vb itself.........

Is the question can you put in a Cheetah Manual VB where a TF-2 was ?

Yes , but if there is a plug in the high gear clutch apply port I think you want to take it out .

Yes, That Is What I Am Asking. So The Plug Would Need To Come Out, But The Other Mods Should Be O.K. ?

The restrictor plug in the front clutch passage is for adjusting the timing of the 2-3 shift. That plug has a hole in it to slow down application of the front (3rd gear) clutch, to give time for the front band (2nd gear) to release. This can occur when increasing line pressure or using a 5.0 front band lever. In some applications, the 2-3 shift suffers from shift overlap with both parts engaged for a fraction of a second for a short lock up which can feel like a tire chirp or "hard" shift which is really the quick slow down then speed up of the tires.

You can enlarge the restrictor plug hole or remove it entirely to fine tune the 2-3 shift.

Other than the restrictor, shimming the rear servo solid and replacing it's spring there really aren't any other mods done when installing a TF-2. The TF-2 is designed to be installed on your back in the driveway.

I don't know what mods have to be done to install the Cheetah though.

Do you have the instructions for both ? You may find that that they require a lot of the same modifications to the rear servo, front servo, and cupped orfice plug.
