I was hoping to get a database of sorts started on Gen 3 engines.
I wanted it to include what core engines are available and they're basic specs (Bore size, deck height, Crank stroke, rod length etc).
There has been a lot of talk and interest about these engines lately for a Drag Application and thought it might be nice to have the information there and easily accessible.
Would someone like to get the ball rolling? I can edit my original post and add information as we move along.

***Notes***
• Core engines that do not have VCT/VVT (2003-2008)
• The tone ring changed in 2009 also
• The tone rings are interchangeable, make sure you change your crank sensor too if you do that.
• I believe some engines had an english thread for the oil filter?
• The newer ones (2008?) are 22mm x 1.5
• Toner finger is interchangeable except 03-08 5.7 HEMI (3 Bolt, standard is 4 bolt)
• The good news is that if you have a 6.1 or 6.4 crankshaft and want it in a 5.7 block you can purchase the proper ring from Wiseco part # TR- 32. You only need this if you r using fuel injection and production ECM.
