I would powdercoat them SG Black with just polished bolts. I think it would look pretty sneaky.

Nothing says "sneaky" like a Hemi Orange Road Runner with a 6-pack hood.
Black would look good.

HAHAHA understatement of the year! With a car that has A12 cues like that, your not gonna catch ANYONE off guard at the stop light grand prix!

Mopar to the bone!!!

I always liked the looks of those BBS style wheels, but doesn't the front hub protrude too much for most of the centers? I know most of you guys probably run aftermarket brakes with different hats, but that kept me off of them for the time being.

These are a nice looking wheel..

http://www.aewheel.com/eagle_alloy_wheels.cfm?id=2148&cat=471

Just be good if they ever make them in 18" like they said they planned to a year ago when I was at the factory out here...

I'm real happy with my forged 18" ,2 piece wheels now...but being sort of in the wheel 'game', having a couple of different styles around is no problem

(I might make up a set using some new centers we had made up if they will clear my brakes, just to try out for a change. )

European inspired American muscle car. With a modern Hemi, an upgraded suspension, and a some light racing wheels, I don't think it would look or perform that bad. Especially if the wheel centers are black. I say, go for it!

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

"The Hammer!" By far my favorite 1970 Plymouth Satellite! Those wheels are pricey!

Yep, they cloned it into a GTX because it was cheaper than buying a real GTX.

O and those Kinesis Wheels are really pricey. Like $3k+ a set! Last month I found a used pair that came off of a Mustang just like those for about $1800, but the wheel offsets were so big that you would have needed a mini-tub.

The first picture has a roll bar and what looks like a pop out window

Sorry, my bad. The first one is not the "Hammer." I know the second one is for sure.

Alex,

Did you look into the VWW 48's anymore? They are a 2 pc wheel in all their 17" sizes. they do make one 16" VWW model 48 but that is a one pc wheel.

I was also looking at the Team III , LTIII wheels as they make the LT III in 17 and 18" wheels. Some sizes are 1 piece and some are 2 piece wheels depending on the size.

The 18" wheels have an interesting rear tire size in the 285/40 size at around 27" x 11.4" wide would be a nice tire for the rear of the old Mopars.
