I have that abbreviated artical that ran in muscle car review in 91. Yours has a few more pics!! That demon is exactly like mine interior wise. Mine doesn't have the border on the hood blackout, and bumper guards, I do have the full black vinyl top. Cool !!!

Great article, thanks for posting. I'm gonna call that car either pilot car (likely specifically an "advertising" car) or a very early production car. It has what appears to be an orange engine, and the 70 style light argent center caps, it also has an unpainted bypass hose which is typical of a specially assembled engine (pre production, etc.).

Not to mention the "340" decal placement. And rear tail stripe.

No problem at all. I knew you guys would like the article. Some of the info is not 100% correct but the photos do say alot. I actually tried to attatch the photos bigger and clearer but it wouldn't let me because they were over the limit.

In the magazine article, where it shows the engine, to the left, it states the new 340 is available as a 4v or triple 2v. If only it was in '71...

Always one bad decision away from a good time.
If I had a dollar for every time somebody told me to go to Hell, I could have bought a thousand first class tickets.

Ya they refer to the 340 as Chryslers newest engine? Is the master cyl a disc type? Best cruise 72mph?
Wish they would have had the triple 2 as a option, would have probably been a sub 14sec car with a 3.91 !
