Everyone, I have slotted the holes on my 318-340 tray to fit on my 360 main bolts. Anyone know the correct spacing down? I have mocked it up using studs and washers but I had to use 3/8s of an inch to get it to clear the rods. I also bent it out a bit for clearance and now it's hitting on oilpan rail. Also, how much clearance is needed between tray and rod bolts? Just curious if anyone has done this before. Thanks, JP in the land Oz.

Back in the day, there was a specific windage tray for the 360. MP's windage tray is a universal fit unit, fits the 360 as well as the other LA's.
I have always had the windage tray want to ride on the oil pan rail, just wedge it out of the way, put the pan on without the timing chain cover and you can eyeball the fitment.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

I have a 318-340 tray & am using on a stock stroke 360. The mopar performance trays come with slotted holes & washers to use under main bolts. I would like to get the washer thickness so I can space my tray accordingly. I got burned on ebay by buying a "360" tray as advertised. So I am trying to make it work. Thanks, JP in the land of Oz.
