You message is mixed you want to put a more streetable gear in but gain a bunch of HP and TQ and at the same time still use the 2800 stall I presume??

I hope the springs are good to .550" lift instead of .055" lift.

basically i want to know if this combo is performing to its full potential or is there a cam, carb, intake combo that would let it perform to its full potential

Put a good carb on it, make sure your fuel system is up to snuff, ensure the distributor has a good ignition curve in it. Leave the gears.

Hello I would put a 509 cam in and go with a 850 Holley DP Carb.3"EXHAUST all the way back, You can get the cam at your local Mopar dealer for around $200.00 I run this cam in all of my big blocks and it always works great and makes lots of HP AT TOP END.

Take a pill, Noob.

That is uncalled for on a forum that provides the best advice you are ever going to get.

Have you run it at the track yet? With traction you should be into the 12's although I don't know if that carb would get you there.

Ahh okay. Check your timing and get back to us. Whats the initial timing set at, how much total advance and what RPM is it all in at?
Throw that carb in the garbage, Personally I would buy a Holley 3310 but it won't run optimal by just bolting it on. If there is a guy near you that has a good reputation with Holley carbs I would have him tune it for you.
Don't change anything else until what you have is tuned to give all it's got.
One other thing, what does it have for a fuel pump and lines? I would install a fuel pressure gauge at least temporarily, when you start driving the car you'll want to tape it to the cowl and make sure your pressure doesn't drop when it's wooded in high gear.
