Ahh okay. Check your timing and get back to us. Whats the initial timing set at, how much total advance and what RPM is it all in at?
Throw that carb in the garbage, Personally I would buy a Holley 3310 but it won't run optimal by just bolting it on. If there is a guy near you that has a good reputation with Holley carbs I would have him tune it for you.
Don't change anything else until what you have is tuned to give all it's got.
One other thing, what does it have for a fuel pump and lines? I would install a fuel pressure gauge at least temporarily, when you start driving the car you'll want to tape it to the cowl and make sure your pressure doesn't drop when it's wooded in high gear.
