Good stuff, I use it in everything. Not much margin in the stuff to justify the shipping. IMO get it from Summit Racing.

Its all i'll use in any engine i build. I'd love to sell you some, but it would be crazy to ship several cases. Find someone in your area that handles it. If you cant find someone, drop me a pm and Ill see if i can find another dealer or distributor near you.

What viscosity should I buy for the midwest. All 440's 6V's and 383 HP's. My 383 RR I hope to drive the wheels off of! No driving during the winter.
10/30 10/40
I did find a place in KCK and Marshall, MO that are distributors.
Let your engine(s) tell you what weight likes... if hot oil presure is good with 10W30 than that's what I'd run. If a little low, run the 10W40. Generally engines built with stock or near stock clearance do fine on 10W30. Engines with hi-po clearances may like the 10W40, especially if you do street driving that may force you to idle while hot for a while.

Never made the connection of GT-1 and the BradPenn...I ran GT-1 back in '68. I checked my oil one day at the track after a run,,FOAM clear up the dip-stick..!! I IMEDIATELY quit running GT-1. As for the Brad Penn stuff,,I have had several people tell me they cannot keep the oil in their motors. Most running dry sump set-ups, with NO leaks anywhere, but the oil level is LOW quickly.
If you like drag racing, support your local track.

Where in Missouri.
In Holden, just 30 miles east of KC.
Is there much difference running Brad Penn compared to running...say Castrol with ZDD-Plus in it instead?
Thats what I did on initial fire up on a 383 for a 71-RR I'm putting together.

The BP oil is not dyed green - the green oil is unique to that particular well in Bradford, Pennsylvania (hence the name Brad Penn).
I've never had a foaming problem with it and have run it exclusively for ~7 years. Also sold about 2000 cases of the stuff to customers and never had a single complaint.
