The steering box in my 1970 satellite (roadrunner clone) has went out eventually i am to purchase a FF stage 3 box, however for now i have a 73 duster 340 sitting with a good ps box. I know the pitman arms are different diameters from 73 up, can i use the duster box and pitman arm with the rest of my steering linkage? Just looking for a cheap soultion for now until i can afford the FF box

You have to buy a 73 B body pitman arm which is what you would probably have to use with the FF box, the A body arm will not work.

Yes , none of the other parts of the steering are different. I did it on a 68 satellite , changed to a cop box with the 73 arm the rest was stock parts.

So is it ONLY 73 B body pitmans that will work, or will any late B-body (73-78) pitman fit?

73-78 + I think the last used box I grabbed was out of a 85 M body & it used the same arm...

Grabbed quite a bit off that one... 19K mile Cop Car.... Gave the roller 318 to a buddy...

I was about to order the pitman arm today and on rock auto the 73 satellite arm is the same part number as the 73-76 duster.... my question is if this is true then why cant i just use the box and arm off the 73 duster i have?

The Moog part# is K7076.This is the one you need to make a large shaft box work in a 70 B-Body.John.

i didn't know it was the same as the A body arm , it didn't specifiy that in the article I read in Mopar action back in the late 80's/early 90's when I did the swap.
