There are various adapters available, as the R5 has their own bell housing pattern. Depending on what crank is in the engine, some have a Ford, some have a chevy crank flange. If you haven't done so already, buy a complete engine, something out of the Busch Cup (the roller cam engines with the 390 Carb) rather than the flat tappet Nascar engine. There were several variations with the Rockers etc over the years, making up an engine out of parts can prove difficult.
The are a few members on the board that run these combo's, so hopefully the rest chime in for you. I need a memory refresh on some of the stuff for when my engine arrives.

The crank flange is either symetrical 6 or 8 bolt. BOBSPROFAB makes and adapter. If the crank is 6 bolt you will convert to a MOPAR 6 bolt. If it is 8 bolt you convert to a MOPAR 8 bolt.
Bob also makes a adapter plate that has attachement ears to make a custom motor plate with it.

You would need an adapter to suit the GM pattern firstly, the find a suitable flexplate. It's been so long since I really got into these engines, I am abit hazy on some of the details, so I will leave it for someone else to chime in.

Yes they are a hair wider than a RB at the heads. You will not be able to put the engine in the stock location without modifying the k frame. You won't be able to get it to sit down far enough. I make adapter plate kits as well. Mine are behind everything from sand drag rails in Ohio to speed boats in Australia and many drag cars internationally. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me here or ask in this forum and I will try to keep and eye on this thread

This is not 100% correct. There are 2 6 bolt styles. One is the Chevy 6 (symmetrical) and the Ford 6 has one hole not equal spaced..

First off you'd have to get a reverse chevy bell or just get a SB Chrysler bell since you are changing bells. Cause there is no where to mount a starter on a glide, the starter bolts to the block on a chevy. Then depending on which bell you decide to get you have to get torque convertor and flywheel/flex plate to match.
