That's what I did and I am very happy with his work and the quality of the final product. You get basically a headphone jack coming out of the AM radio, you could input an MP3 player, satellite radio... anything that has a headphone "out" jack.

These folks here do an excellent job of coverting your old radio to modern internals along with mp3, satelite radio inputs and such all while maintaining the stock housing and face plate. http://www.antiqueautomobileradio.com/

Same here. Amp under my bench seat...
What brand/model amp are you guys using?? I have been wanting to do this exact thing in my Fury, but haven't had much luck identifying an amp that would take high level inputs well.
