I am about to order a 3 inch X pipe system from TTI. I want to put electric cutouts on it and was wondering the best pace to install. I was looking at the midway point between the "X" and the muffler. Would that be the ideal place? Also has anyone had experience with the Summit racing elec. cutouts? Anygood? And last can I put the system together using the SS band clamps so I can disassemble in the future if needed. ANYONE!!??

I put mine here. I ordered an extra section from TTI and welded them in.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

The Summit cutouts look like they are supplied by QTP.. And some have reported that these eventually leak.. Suggest that you check our the Doug Thorley cutouts... They are more $ but are more robust built and the exit gate slides back/forth driven by a Daytron reduction motor. Just my $0.02..
