Anonymous Unregistered A	What years were the green assembly line oil filters put on cars? I think 1972 is when they switched over to the red, white, and blue ones but what year did they start with the green ones?

blkbee6pack member B Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 148 S.W. Florida	I know they did in 1970, I have two, one is rough (sand) finish and one is smooth finish. Both are green with embossed M on the end and part number L-72

The later boxes had no date and these filters were used up until and including 1971.
