Hello Folks! Can you guys tell me, what is the correct, factory finish on a 440HP/Torqueflite setup? I've seen transmissions hemi orange, Chrysler blue(for the 2bbl cars), and natural--what's correct? If the trannies were sprayed-- was it completely, or partially? Were the engines natural, partially sprayed, or ? at assembly time? And, not to open the worm can, the engines.. what is painted engine color-and what is not engine color? And--in the Mopar hobby, is there a good, reference available, that shows all the detail stuff? I restored a 68 Road Runner back in about 1990, and I remember a terrific series in a Mopar magazine, showing all the utility colors, inspectors' paint daubs, all the odd underchassis markings...? Anything out there today? Thanks!!

bare aluminum case and extention hsg.
black phosphate bolts (all of them)
Brass cooling line fittings
clear zinc plated shift levers
clear zinc plated pressure port plugs
And I believe the pan itself was bare steel with some kind of rust preventive, just not real sure what.
