Guys...need some advice on jetting a 572 Hemi with a MP X ram intake and duall 770 cfm Holleys. Appn is street/strip.

Engine combo is :

572 Hemi - pump gas
Bryant Crank, Saenz steel rods
Diamond slugs 11:1 CR net
Indy heads 425cfm @ 700"
Bullet roller 265 @ .050" mid - high 600's lift
Mopar X ram with dual 770's
2.25" headers
Car weight 3450lbs

Im wondering what jetting/sec springs will be in the ballpark to run for inital setup before track tuning?

Also, has anyone run 1" phenolic 4 hole spacers under these carbs with good results on this intake ? I have the space to use them and not sure if they will help or not. Curious more than anything....

Are you using factory carbs or two standard single carbs? If replacements, what are you using for linkage?

Hey there...carbs are the new Holley repro 770 cfm vac sec - identical to the originals. Linkage is A&A style.

on the dyno my 12:1 477 made more power when we ditched the staggered screw in jets and put 78's in all (these were bone stock carbs with untouched metering plates)the primary sides.

For the street they are not bad out of the box. I run 80 jets in mine. My inner genious told me to fiddle with my carbs and by the time I was done it would hardly run (go figure). I sent them off to Barton for the SS prep, well worth it.
