Hi
I just wasted a cork/rubber coated pan gasket from MP and a cork Fel-pro gasket. They seem to slide and tear at the front & rear bolt holes.Maybe to much silicone.
Does anybody make a one piece gasket for a 71/340.
Thanks
Ken

i just bought a gasket from Summit that in some place is described as a reusable 1 piece but not always. I'll find out in 3 days.

Oil Pan Gasket, Multi-Piece, Rubber, Dodge/Plymouth, 340, Set

Check to make sure this part fits your application
One-piece design to seal your engine.
Got a Mopar that needs an oil pan gasket? Mopar Performance has what you need. These oil pan gaskets are a one-piece design, to minimize the chances of leaks, and they're designed specifically for your engine by the company that made it in the first place. Note that you will need two of these gaskets if you are using a windage tray. One goes on each side of the tray.

Cork and silicone dont mix.Seen too many wanna bes use silicone with cork and other new gaskets. If the gasket dosent seal new you have a problem either over tightened or something not straight.Been doin this for over 40 years and I install almost everything dry.Rocky

Silicone does make cork gaskets slide around. Glue them down next time. Mike

The description makes no sense at all. In the specs it says its not a one piece. The text below says it is. They talk in the text about needing two gaskets for a windage tray. Thats only with big blocks....
