Just an FYI, Rock Auto currently has a smoking closeout deal on the 2710 Anchor Brand mounts! $6.41 + ship each! I bought 2 pairs (4 mounts) and it was $34.30 to my door! For that price I'll have 'em on the shelf when I get ready for 'em.

Also installed the motor mount brackets; will have to decide what mounts to use as the 512 shakes a bit at idle (at least it did in the Coronet I had it in previously)

Diesel Same style rubber mount as slant 6 to 440

As Harry mentioned the 89-93 Diesel motor mounts are a bolt in fit for the /6 and v8 engines.

I used them on my 440 swap in the Ramcharger. They are a tad taller, maybe 3/16 to 1/4 inch. But they have more material, and are very tough. Also they have the locking tabs so if they do fail, the motor wont jump out and head down the road by itself.

Surprisingly the mount on the left is the cheaper Anchor #2710 and it has more material, and is better than the more expensive NAPA mount.

The middle is the stock, factory mount, well torn.

For more info, and a followup on the mounts performance after racing, follow the link:

Thanks Jwilli500, I am using the diesel mounts and like you said there is a lot more mateerial than the stock mounts.

1E2C thanks for the parking brake bellcrank; I polished the bolt, lubed it, painted it and it moves like a pendelum on a cukkoo clock.

Hooked up the pitman arm, installed PS lines to the box and saginaw pump. No leaks so far; I'll have to figure out what pulley I need for the pump, appears that I need a big block press on pulley so the belts will line up. Pulleys, fuel pump and lines next.. Anyone know if they make a 3/8" pickup/sending unit for this D150? Might have to run a fuel cell in the bed...

Decided to use adel clamps to keep the lines from rubbing each other and it looks neater too.

IIRC they dodnt have a 3/8 pick up for them,I think you could make it into 3/8 maybe??

I went with the cel in the bed sitting on 500 CI caddy pistons.

you can drop in thru the floor in the back to hide it as well

I hung my filter and pump on the frame rail and run a 1/2 feed with a 3/8 to car with a 3/8 return line.

Thaks for the heads up!
Just ordered 6 of them. Less than 10 each to my door! They only have 8 left at this price!

Scratch, thats a good idea; I thin I'll pull the sending unit out and see how hard it would be to make it a 3/8" pickup. Are the sending units still avialable? I have looked but not found any sites that offer them.

Thanks for the link to Jim's but oh my goodness the prices are so out of site that they are more than a Hemi RR or and A12 car. Are these D150s going to be on the block for $100,000.00 at Barrett Jackson?? No thanks, when he wants $119.00 for a shifter boot. He will have his inventory of Dodge truck parts for many many years....I have restored many A bodies and B bodies and never spent what he wants for the truck parts....

Well, went out today to Swangler Wrecking/Auto Parts and they hooked me up with the pulleys I needed for the crank and waterpump.

Installed the crank and waterpump pullies after cleaning and painting them. Should have the PS pulley on later this week. Finished scraping/sanding/wire brushing the rest of the frame and coated it with rustoleum satin; a few areas I will have to touch up but it's good enough for now. Also removed the rear diff and springs; will have to decide on the springs and what diff to run. Looks like the big HP trucks are running some sort of caltracs by the posts I read.
