Hello,
Car has stock suspension setup and locations. Running 15x7" wheels in front and 15x8.5" in the rear. I don't have the BS. I will check when I get home.
I currently have P255/60R15's on the back and P235/60R15's on the front. The fronts are dry rotted and need to be replaced. Already replaced rears with Cooper Cobras....so fronts will be Cooper Cobras as well.
Question is should I go back with the 235's or go with P215/70R15's.
I have not been to any car shows lately to look at tire sizes. Cooper does not make a 225 in the radial g/t's.
The wheel/tire height is basically the same front and back if I go with the 215's.
Does anyone have some pictures and/or opinion on my dilemma.
Thanks,
Mark

stick with the 235s

IMO - P215/70R15 on a 7" wide wheel, just looks bad (more wheel width than tire tread)

235x60 on a 7" rim , works for me.

I like the 235/60/15's on the front of a muscle car. But is there something you don't like about the way they fit your car?

I'd stick to 235's also as long as they have worked OK for you. I believe 235 with correct backspace is as wide as you can go with no rub issues at full lock/full suspension travel.

Wider works better and looks better. 225's are OK. 215's just look puny to me.

I have 2 Challengers, and one has 235/60-15's up front. Best all around tire in my opinion. My other one has 245/60-15's on the front. They look good, but are too wide and rub the frame rail at full lock. Stick with 235's

Thanks for everyones replies.
Sometimes I need a sanity check.
Didn't have chance to check BS last night. My wife and I have been blessed with our first child, 8 weeks old today. Definitely a change in my life, for the best. We are very excited.

The 235's are nearly going to rub when locked full wheel turn.
I have been happy with them. Just wondered if it would look better with a little more space between sidewall and wheel well trim.

I might look at the BS and see if there is some opportunity to snug it in a little. Does anyone know what the maximum BS would be?
Thanks,
Mark
