we change the seals out. i'm sure we have the ones you need since we do a lot of those heads. i'm not fond of the seals edelbrock uses.

all eddy heads use a .530 od seal. the id of the inner spring on a 928 is .795 if memory serves me correct

you might find some of the original seals have come off the guides. they are not a high quality seal and they're pretty big on the o.d.

If the seal is 0.530, wouldn't there be enough room with the 0.795 spring to not worry about contact, clearance, or displacement of the seal?
the eddie seals are big black things. the ones Dan was talking about will be much thinner and better for your application

Had that issues with several of my eddy seals... but I also had sticky valve guides as well until they were all cleaned up/machined... switched to comp cams .530 seals. Perfect fit and no clearance issues with my dual springs for my roller.
