location of alt itself doesn't need to be moved, just bracket change of location between A/C and non A/C setups, being than non A/C brackets use the A/C compressor bolt locations.
you will notice on Non A/C the bracket fits just right in front of alt, and on A/C cars fits juts right behing teh front "ear" of alt due the deeper alt bracket location on water pump housing to doesn't meet with Compressor bracket
that pic show extra spacers what really are not needed. Without those extra spacers, the rear groove of alt will meet with last rear groove of crank.
another diff stuff is if who made assembly that got some problem with room to fit that later model alt, what is true fits some tight in front of block and head

pics of what you have will be really helpfull.
A/C belt iddler pulley is not common to find, that makes the hose coming from compressor be diff too to be able to fit the iddler, bing the hose in two sections, instead the one run hose kind.
anyway the iddler pulley doesn't change anything on belt and pulleys setup.
what si true is that non A/C cars use a diff belt setup, being one belt to water pump and alt with crank pulley and the other one runs just to steering pump. For the right setup will need to find the complete pulleys setup. I think 440source.com provides them, also mancini racing.
about Alt brackets between A/C and non A/C as explained abouve even the brackets ( both bottom and top ) are diff, is not really MANDATORY to change since any setup won't change anything on alt location. Just for right setup looking.
the diff on lower bracket is just the extra leg to bolt to engine mount provision and give streng assembly when turn on compressor, due the heavy vibrations this makes because the extra traction for the compressor turned on.

The altrenator bracket that you pictured is for the 100 Amp alternator, not the standard, regular, alternator that the other brackets are for. I have one of those 100 Amp alternators on my engine, and everything lines up just fine with the original 1971 single groove water pump pullie, and double groove crank pullie. (power steering)
