How can I tell if my Dart has 9" or 10" front brakes. I dont have access to measure it right now. My build sheet has 11 under 'front brake'.

Thanks

Thank you.Should it show B11 on my sheet? It only shows 11 under the "Front Brake" box.

I think the spindle shank drops straight down on 10" and kicks out at an angle on 9" ers. I have a 10" spindle being returned in several hours so I will check back later w what I see EDIT I may have that backwards, I'll know in a bit

I swapped my 73 Dart drums to stock disks from a 75 Dart years ago; no issues!

If the car is unmolested, factory /6 cars got 9" brakes, while V8's got 10" (not sure about 273 V8).

I think the 11 is the last 2 digits of the brake assembly used in production with no way to cross reference. If there are no numbers in the B/brake section then no optional brakes were ordered. Attached is the brake size info from the dealer data book.

I believe you could over at HD brake package and get 10" on a /6 car.

Always best to go measure and check the car.

My 273 dart had 9in drums in the front.

Ditched them in favor of the KH disc setup
