Correct. And depending on the ride height of the car, the driver's side header can and will drag on high spots in parking areas and also after driving through other major dips in the road, etc. I have them on my 68' Charger and I hate 'em basically.....if this helps. I wish I'd gone TTI first thing

I believe Summit headers are made by Patriot ( ??). Everyone will say they are just like Hedmans, but I've looked at both side by side, and while they follow the same bend pattern, they are not identical.
B/RB report card: I purchased a set for my B motor 67 Satellite. The primary tubes extend straight out of the flanges more-so than any others I've seen. Probobly good for flow charachteristics, but not so good for clearance requirements. They wouldn't clear the power steering pump on my car (not even close). I hung them on my wall, and purchased a set of Hooker Comps. I immediately saw the quality difference when the hookers arrived. I chalked it up to a $109 lesson and moved on. Ultimately, I'm happy I have the 1-7/8" hookers now. The Summit's are still hanging on my wall (with a dent in them at the #3 power steering interference area) if anyone's interested.

Which Hookers did you get? The standard Competition or SUPER comps? I'm working on a LOW budget build

I think mine are the standard "Comp's". They were around $250, if I remember correctly.

 why they would hit the pump...you can see in my pick above it clears it by a mile. I also had a set on a 67 coronet w/o issue.

the LA's fit my 5th ave fine, yup, they go under the steering, never touched them down, even with my car lowered ~1" in front....fit and finish was as good or better than the hedmans they replaced, no dinging required to fit, slightly better plug access than the previous hedmans.
IIRC they're made my dynomax here in the US, vs. mexico for hookers
