I'm going to help a friend add discs to his 68 Sport Fury Convertible.. I know the always mentioned preferred setup is the 73 Chrysler discs... Looking at part numbers it appears they are actually used in 72 & 73 and they are used on all 72-73 C bodies, Dodges, Plymouths & Chryslers..... Is this correct? If so it makes finding them a little easier than just 73 Chrysler Thanks!!

Hopefully my memory is on, so hope some of this info is helpful. I think when 1973 models were coming out in late 72' the models started carry the perfered 73' style brakes. I believe they are diffrent as 1972 earlier brake rotors due to the bearing size change to 1973 production. The reason everybody like the 1973 is because they use the the newer rotors, which are way cheaper by like $100ea. Now those came on diffrent models, but if memory serves me right, the imperial used a diffrent bolt pattern. All other models for that year should work nicely with 4.5 5lug pattern. I used to get a bunch of those from the demo derby guys because they couldn't use them. I even helped put a set on my friends 1966 monaco. Cass (a.k.a. Dr Diff) has some upgrades he could recomment, as well as AndyF. Magnum Force Still has the tubular upper control arm jigs incase your pal wants to do some lowering and wants the upper CTA's for some suspension tuning. I'm sure a few folks will chime in to say I'm wright or wrong, but at least it gives you something to read tonite.

My Coupe is a C body front end, but it is LIGHT, so I went with Wilwoods. I think AndyF's kit is the way to go with the big C's though... Factory stuff works well, but can be hard to find... My Wilwoods..

I've been poking around the Drydock... But being a member here & knowing there are plenty of sharp guys here I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.... I need to find time to go wrecking yard hopping...
