I usually buy the moly ones... yes they are pricey but I dont want them to break... I had some cheap ones break on my steering.... also make sure you use the high angular heims on the steering... I havent tried the dust covers yet but I do have some for my currant build

mr p,, what high angular hiem ?? reason for asking i need to channge up my steering from the stock rod ends to a hiem, and also what recomends do you have as for as a spacer, metal / aluminum??
High angular heims give you more movement so the tie rods wont go into bind... a standard usually WILL go into bind at full travel... thats the reason mine broke... the high angular will give you about 12* to 18* more angle (dependent on size)... as for the spacer alum is fine if you have enough diameter so it cant pivot

i thought thats what it was ,, wasnt for sure, thanks, when we done my front end , it front steer now but the issue is that when tires come off ground the rod ends these are stock ends, are touching the strut bars ,not good, so a fellow racer said in order to get up away from it to raise the ends and put hiem on it still worried about the arch travel, i have the book that tells me about that issue , but rather confusing as to the fix , ?

Where do you find the high angular ones?
I get them through Summit but they dont show them... I give Summit the P/N and they have them drop shipped to the house(this company doesnt deal direct) Also they have a inset thing to change the standard heim to a high angle..... they are acually called high misalignment http://www.fkrodends.com/HRSMXTHINT25.html

moly is always the best for suspension parts in my opinion due to the stresses involved. but what about other uses, such as push-pull motions in brake pedal rods, throttle linkage, battery cutoff switches, etc. also, is the general consensus more to a "lined" race[nylon/kevlar material] than non-lined[metal-to-metal] race?
The smaller stuff you dont need the big dollar stuff like throttle... I dont even use a heim on the brake pedal... tie rods you want good ones... if its a chassis point(ladder bars/4-links I use the moly no liner...I dont want that getting beat out and having a loose/worn out heim... I clean and lube them but you can try the dust covers
