I will run a INDY 2" adapter from a 4150 to 4500 i have seen them pick up a tenth and i have seen 2 to 5 hundreds. But i don`t know about 2 tenths?But this is the 1st 572 i have run. THANKS

1050 will pick it up it does depend on some factors , on how its set up? i have changed carbs picked up 2 tenths, i have changed same size carb for another and picked up .05 572 big motor , sure you have the flow for more, might think about a tunnel ram?

I am trying to keep it around 6.0 right now i don`t won`t to pick up to much but if i go a lot faster i will need head work to THANKS.

what type heads you have ? i have posted before of stock rpm running mid 9 s and on set low 9s with hughs port job and i know dan smith does them a little better, im sure youre running indys or something better than rpm with a 572 running 6 ?? now 116 1/8 ?? i would think 5.7 5-8 s 120 not out of youre sights or more?????   youre holding back lol

I am running INDYS 440-1s out of the box with no port work on them i built it to run 6.0 class but if i put weight in i will need a little more to keep it at 6.0 in the heat and slow it down a little in cool air.THANKS

You might want to think about a Ron's Terminator they are awesome. Them Big Mopar engines love fuel,and with the Terminator there is no limit like with a carb. to how much fuel you can put in it.

Depends on the rpm that you turn... if I recall you keep the revs down so going bigger might gain very little

If you need instant throttle response or want to pick up as much as possible hp, the terminator is hard to beat. With 2100 cfm airflow (2400 available?) there is no hp loss to vacuum needed by a carb.

i picked up a tenth and a half on a basically stock 440(ported 452s)557cam shifting 5800rpm going from a worked 4150 flowing 1050cfm to an ootb holley 1150 old style dom carb.btw 3500lb car running 11.0s with the dommy to 11.14 best with the 4150 avg 11.20s.....119mph to 121-22mph best from what i can recall.

On my roadrunner i had a 850 on gas and it would run 5.99 to 6.0s on a 452 motor with 906 ported heads then i put a 1050 on alk and the car went 5.91 to 6.00 it pick up about a tenth but a friend put a 1150 on and pick up 2 or 3 hundreds most of the time that i have seen around a tenth on fast motors and around 2 to 2 1/2 tenths on slower motors but this is my 1st 572 motor and i am trying to keep it at 6.0 if i can but i am trying to see what the MOPAR guys are running i guess i will put one on and see.THANKS
