it will pickup a tenth seen it lots of times even a couple is likely depending on the setup(spacer/adapter).

1050 will pick it up it does depend on some factors ,
on how its set up?
i have changed carbs picked up 2 tenths,
i have changed same size carb for another and picked up .05
572 big motor , sure you have the flow for more, might think about a tunnel ram?

i have posted before of stock rpm running mid 9 s and on set low 9s
with hughs port job and i know dan smith does them a little better,
im sure youre running indys or something better than rpm with a 572
running 6 ?? now 116 1/8 ?? i would think 5.7 5-8 s 120 not out of youre sights or more?????

Depends on the rpm that you turn... if I recall you
keep the revs down so going bigger might gain very
little

i picked up a tenth and a half on a basically stock 440(ported 452s)557cam shifting 5800rpm going from a worked 4150 flowing 1050cfm to an ootb holley 1150 old style dom carb.btw 3500lb car running 11.0s with the dommy to 11.14 best with the 4150 avg 11.20s.....119mph to 121-22mph best from what i can recall.
