I went on Hughes site this morning to order a set of these banana grooved shafts and there is no listing for the shafts by themselves, only in kit form. Do any of you have some recommendations for a great oiling shaft to use with a 440-1 street/strip motor making 600-700 hp ? Thanks for the help.

I would check with Rocker Arm Specialists in Anderson,CA. They do great work.

Not what you requested but an option would b to groove a primo set w a hacksaw blade then take down the slight burr on the edges w just the right grit, not rocket science just spreads the film. Seperate issue but I also externally oil the heads like Indy does horizontally thru the rear to/angle up to the #5 pedestal. that lets me elim the cam bearing massive oil leaks (reduce each cam bearing vertical feed to 1/16")

Like Robert said it isn't rocket science. Use a dremel tool and cut your own.

Did you call Hughes and ask about the rockers shafts? I'll bet they will sell you some if you call and ask.

I know I just bought the Hughes rocker shaft hold down hardware kit a few weeks ago. My brother made me a deal on Hughes rockers (1.6 rollers) and shafts that were like new so I bought the hughes hold down hardware. I thought they sold the shafts seperate but I may be wrong. I would call and ask just to be sure as it cant hurt and I like their products. Ron
