Does anyone know if the suede finish on the interior parts has any sheen to it or is it flat?

TIA........

It's flat.
Actually comes out like an enamel that was sprayed too dry. It has a rough texture, kind of like an interior version of organisol.

Thanks I know about the texture but am unsure about any gloss to the finish?

I don't know that I would call it completely flat in sheen.

I've done a few, in different colors and they all have a VERY small amout on sheen to them. not enough I would call them satin or gloss by any means though.

I'll see if I can find a picture of one I did recently

edit,
no pics on this PC,
I have a 1970 B-body column on the bench now in baltic blue. I'll snap a picture later today to show it.

This is probably the best view to see the color and shine ,,, or lack there of.
these are all the same column taken under various lighting conditions.
indoors - shop lighting - no flash

For those that have used this paint, I believe I read that it is thinned on a 1:1 ratio with lacquer thinner, and that it can be sprayed over bare metal.

Is this correct? Would I better off using an etch primer first?

Thanks.

I spray it 2 to 1 , and have always use an etching primer under it. haven't had a problem yet
