Not many showed some of the cars are in two photos. not sure if the red dodge truck was a mopart or not??? I always liked those little trucks! we got two awesome T-shirts and do highly recommed those who did not attend to order some they are well worth it !!! Kudos !!!! for those that drove all the way from mississippi and especially Oklahoma & other long distance drivers, that is REAL dedication !!!!!! we only drove 180 miles one way a round trip of 360 miles and did not even bring a car, but we sure got some cool t-shirts to wear to the hot rod reunion next weekend! soooooo where was everyone else????? we expected to see a moparts crowd

the times we saw today ran in the 5's and low 6's
the Belvedere WAS a very nice car
the four door Belvedere ran in low 7's he told us. I am trying to remember we both think he said 723 but not sure. I did not get his time today but that is what he told us.
if you could not run in the 5's today then best to go right on home.. these were some fast efficent cars!!!

Bill May made the quickest pass but Tony's consistency was hard to beat. The normally aspired B1 Powered Dart was impressive and really sounded good. When it took out Bill May on a hole shot I think everyone really got everyone's attention. Up to that point Bill May had the quickest qualifying pass an was favored by most to win. All the cars were awesome and I am sorry but I don't know some of your names. The white duster from Mississippi was very clean and made a more than respectable showing for the small block guys. With a little more luck on the draw his outcome could have been much different.
BigSqueese's 4speed street Dart is impressive and real easy on the eyes. The detail of a restored car with a little deception for good measure. He had to burn some of the dead rubber off of the quick times on his first pass and spun to the 330 and still ran a low 7.
The blue Charger from Tennessee was very nice and layed down some respectable times.
Tony's car looks just as good in person as it does on the net. Sorry I did'nt get to converse with him more.
The blue Roadrunner was in the thick of things but it was having some traction problems.
Bondo's, Big Show and Bill Mays cars really have to be seen to be believed the attention to detail rivals a high dollar restoration or street rod. Not to take anything away from the other cars present as ever car there was very impressive in one way or the other.
The Silver Fish is a nice example of a of a 10.5 car and if they had not had mechanical problems very well could have won. But runner up ain't bad.
Glad to meet everyone that I met and hope to meet more at the next get together.
Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

I posted this on the N2OMSTR winner thread too but this also has a link to my photobucket album with the pictures I took in it. I was there watching in the stands and a big "THANKS" goes out to all you guys for getting this together and congrats to N2OMSTR. I'm a big Mopar fan and love to see guys going fast in these cars...was great inspiration for me to hurry up and get back to finishing my car. I've got some pics of the guys in the staging lanes and up on the starting line I can post over the next few minutes. Also, saw headhunters BEAUTIFUL Cuda back in the pits. I NEED to know what that color is...it's GORGEOUS. Again, thanks to all the guys who got this set up and to all the participants for coming. It's good to see the Mopar crowd out at the valley, which is usually dominated by 3rd gen camaros and fox bodies. Wish I could've gotten to talk to some of you guys but I couldn't get to the track before 7 and plus, I haven't been active enough on the forum to get to know any of you guys yet. Awesome show, hope it becomes a normal thing at the Valley! http://s1177.photobucket.com/albums/x350/MoparManiac17/That's the link to the photo album
