i emailed them and they said they would work fine with my mopar superstock springs and i know caltracs says not to use theres with super stock springs.so before i go and spend the money i thought i would see if anybody is running a set before i spend the money on them. but they look like a nice set up thanks Mopar65
Hey bobby, I thought you had Caltracs, Those look like there plenty adjustable, but will they work with "multi" leaf springs, if not, then you might as well get the Caltracs & mono leaf kit, you'll still need an adj. shock, those also look like there more of a traction bar type set up, The caltracs have that rap-around type set-up that puts pressure on the top of the spring close too the eye, this keeps the spring from buckling at that point, thats the weak area, with those your showing it would need a strong (thick) front section buy the eye so it won't flex up, of coarse if you look at the caltrac monos there very thick up front, over a 1/2", maybe close to 3/4", so there not going to flex much & wrap up, it applies all the force on the rear so it plants itself.

hi joe no i dont have the caltracs yet. i want to get the compleat kit but dont have the money right now. i was just interested in these because they say you can use them with mopar super stock spring and calvert says you cant. if i had the money i would just have a set of coil springs and ladder bars put on my car.so was just interested in hearing if anybody was running a set of them.thanks Bobby

I would NOT use Super Stock springs, they weigh a TON.....
save your money and buy the Calvert springs they are nice and light...
a Caltrac set up with the Caltrac Mono springs are prob LIGHTER than just the Super Stock spring...way better
ALSO what are your goals with this car??? Super Stock spring and a good rear shock ...i have been in the 9's with that alone. Caltracs though can be a lot lighter, a lot lower sitting, and can handle a LOT more power down the road if thats your plan....and also better re-sale value later on. BUT if you are budget racing right now...nothing wrong with what you have

I have run mid nines on super stocks and mp gas shocks. Bigtime runs the setup you are looking at and likes them alot. I run cal tracs now and rancho shocks. I bent the front segment of the super stock springs after about 7 years of runing them.

If you do not have the cal-tracs already then get the assasin bars when you get the money together.

yes i have the 73 dart....i would not say its fast, but i run it in 8.50 index and its just a street car.
What i would do with your car is conentrate on getting the 60' down. Porbably the best thing you can do is try to contol the rear end travel with a good set of shocks. They will work now and later on with other set ups. There are a lot of cheapo things you can do to get the car to plant the tire and move forward instead of UP like Super Stock springs like to do. Clamps, shock tuning and front suspension tuning also will get you a lot.
Another thing, 73's are some very heavy A body to begin with, try to lighten the car and try to get the front and rear the same weight, Whatever you take off the front move to the rear, Get the weight to 50/50 if you can, that will also help a lot. 125 you can prob got 10.30's work on the 60 and dont forget....instead of moving up, get the car to move forward....imagin if 2" of rise instead of 4" of rise....2" less up. 2" more forward

You can also use the Landrum mono leaf springs with the SRD bars.
Nautilus Racing- We use Superformance gaskets and Turbo Action converters/products.

Have you got the calvert shocks, i've just bought a pair and on extension, they are very easy to pull out by hand compared to the ce shocks i've just took off. If they improve the car i will let you know. Mine only 60 ft's between 1.48-50 best 1.46. Mick
