Well I got my car scaled at the chassis shop among other things. Its a 71 Plymouth Duster Back halfved car with Coil Overs all the way around. CAPS auto front end. weighed 3001 lbs with me in it. This car is all steel and glass windows including the hood. Only fiberglass is the front bumper. Just wanted to know what front and rear % some other A body cars have compared to mine. Mine is as follows. 50% front 46% Rear.
total front weight 1527
Total rear weight 1396

Mine is 55% front --45% rear.....how did you lose the 4% on the rear??
I would like to lose that on the FRONT!!
Also,,mine weighs 3291 with driver...all steel/all original glass,,,fiberglass hood,,full interior, carpet, etc...driver is 216#..

OOPs. 54% front 46% on rear. As for the front end seems like nice stuff once you get everything squared up and figured out. My only concern is how the front tires move while backing up then straighten back when driving forward.

Ok I miss undersood the % readings. 50.8% of the weight is on the front 50.8% of 3001 lbs. is on the front. 46.8 % is on the rear of 3001 lbs. this is with me ib the car. Im 200 lbs. So the car is 2801 lbs. without me. I will post the print out later.

Here are the weights. Now I understand. Left is the total weight of the left side of the car 1527 lbs. Front weight is 1396 lbs. So if you add the front weights LF 857 lbs.+ RF 749 lbs.=1606 lbs. which is 53.5% on the front. Rear weight LR 670 lbs. + RR 726 lbs.=1396 lbs. which is 46.5 % on the rear.53.5%+46.5%=100%

Thats almost a 50/50 car. I bet your car works real good. may have to add a few pounds to the rear to get m car to do what I want. We will see this weekend. I should have some in car video as well as outside.

Same here, though the car is heavy and has aluminium block, heads etc. Tried to keep stuff as light as possible on the front.
These E bodys make it a bit easier by making everything from the bulkhead back extra heavy
