I called Mike today, he told me they are also selling a setup with tie rod type ends instead of Heim joints which would be better for street use

Yes I've already talked to Bill(great guy) on the phone and plan to visit him in the vendor's area.
Bill knows about, and has seen in person the tubular "copies".
Mike from Modern Muscle also seems to be a honest vendor who does excellent work
