I just restored my car & when assembling I ran auxiliary wiring for my trunk release, third brake light, & electric fuel pump. All wiring is 14G with soldered and shrink wrapped connections. I've killed two 30A fuel pump relays in less than 2 years. Pump is a new Holley blue. Tank is sumped with a pre-filter before & one after the pump. Should I go 40A, or is my pump suspect? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Get rid of the "pre filter", It's causing problems, I promise you. What size line do you have feeding the pump?
