And I'd chuck that electric pump in the trash, it's probably pretty wore out from cavation anyway.
Go back to a mechanicl pump and don't worry about noise and cavation(vapor lock) because I'd bet you don't have it plumbed right or with a large enough feed line. It's a street car right? and you want the wife to go with you sometimes? right?




I thought of that...But have never done it before, and do not have the tools. Can you degree a cam with the motor fully assembled???

I am hopefull that the mechanical pump will not have any vapour lock issue over the hot sumer months...but we will see. I may leave the electric pump hooked up just in case ( I have heard there are no issue runnign both) and only use it if need be.
