Learning curve isn't as steep as others make it out to be. Yes, it is do it yourself but there is a ton of support and documentation. Plus you can purchase them assembled and tested so that takes out the assembly part of the equation. I have my 83 1 ton running a Holley 670 throttle body with MS2. The VE Analyzer in Tunerstudio does most of the work tuning the fuel maps. Get it running and drive around while it self tunes. Doesn't get much easier than that. I'm using a wideband o2 so that helps as well.
