Bobs current engine is a stock 400 block that is half filled and uses a stock 383 forged crankshaft. We run good steel billet main caps "pro-gram" and aluminum GRP rods. The engine goes through the traps at 9200 RPM. Its been a few years and the engine is still running pretty good. It goes 9.20s @ 143. I did pull the pan to inspect the bearings once and all the bearings looked perfect. However there was still some evidence of "Cap Walk". Still going though.


10.53 @ 125mph. 1.37 60 foot. Caltracs and Monoleafs, AFCO shocks.
