When I had my new mega block temp cycled to stess
relief it it was going to 1000* for X minutes then
the temp is reduced to a lower point then X minutes,
goes though it for about 2 hours or more.... so if
there wasnt any coolant in it it should be fine
BUT you would need to have the line bore and cam
bore checked to see if they are still in line....
you can have the block pressure checked in the
coolant areas for a crack
EDIT
The biggest factor would be when they put out the
fire.... if you block was hot and they hit it with
a water hose.... its TRASH
