Would there be any problems having the mount come off the frame if I have solid motor mounts? Its not a motor plate.
I still think it should be mounted to the head or something. Since there is no motor plate anyhow! If you want to mount it to the frame you will need to install a flex joint somewhere before the flange. The bad is these flex joints tend to leak in a short period tho! 
I want to mount it to the head but I want to place the turbo behind the passenger headlight and thats pretty far from the head but right over the frame rail. What about a rubber mount between the brace and the frame? Something like a tranny mount?
