It is a bolt on from Glasstek. Here's another pic.
No interference with your windshield when you open?
My hood is exactly 2" away from the windshield when closed.
As you open it, the top of the scoop gets as close as 3/4" to the windshield, but then the rear of the hood rolls down and forward further away from the windshield. I have the factory original hinges, just using the lightweight springs supplied by Glasstek.
