You know with all the main cap issues the big blocks
have I wonder if some of the people think it was a
broken crank that broke the block BUT maybe it was
a broken main that broke the crank... I've seen plenty
of broken main caps on BBs





Yep, it's the old chicken and egg thing! We had a main cap break in our big block once - the Eagle crank cracked in two places, but held together. How that happened, we'll never know! This was an older crank, from the mid 90's I think. We are still using the same block today! <= this is as close as I could find to a knocking on wood smiley.
